Have A Good Read
After reaching our first birthday earlier this month and celebrating with a ridiculous amount of cake and cocktails, we’re gearing up for an even bigger and better second year with more tasty treats and boozy concoctions to keep you fed, happy and (most importantly) DRUNK! So, we’d like to say a big welcome back to all the returning Jesmond-ites and jesmond heads, lets make this year a banger.
We’ll raise a jar to that!
Steven, a dad of three, has worked at some of the North East’s best known restaurants including Terry Laybourne’s Café 21, The Cherry Tree in Jesmond and Sidney’s in Tynemouth, as well as spending time honing his skills at The Ivy in London.
There’s No I in Team
Chef joined the Jam Jar team in Sept and has already added to the great reputation we’ve built over the last 2 years.

A Word From Chef
“My favorite genre of food is classic French. It forms the basis for everything I cook, the French just know how to do things properly. Other than that I have an interest in Japanese and American street/comfort food and I like to bring these influences into dishes I cook at the Jar.”
